In July of 2013, Sarah and the Saving Moses team took a trip to Phnon Penh on a mission to find the right location for the 2nd NightCare center. After the success of the first NightCare center that has already saved and fed an average of 29 babies nightly, Sarah knew it was time to open a second facility to further reach out and care for babies of mothers trapped in the horrifying world of the sex industry.
They found several neighborhoods where the need for nighttime care is extremely urgent and nonexistent. In the end, the Saving Moses team was able to identify the slum of Tuol Kok as the best candidate for immediate expansion. This neighborhood is minutes away from one of the city’s universities, and right off the main road next to a marketplace. The mothers and their babies live in streets surrounded by garbage and rows of sex workers’ shacks that serve as brothels for servicing their clients.
We are bringing hope in the darkness! Our new NightCare center is in a prime location for this area, just a street behind the main road. Sarah unveiled the beautiful, clean, and safe facility in a ribbon cutting ceremony with the mission to provide the best care available for the babies of Tuol Kok. The mothers of these precious babies continually thank our NightCare staff for the protection and care we provide. With your support, Saving Moses will continue to expand into the areas where the need is most urgent and least available for babies who would be hopeless without us!
Your gift of $38 will provide NightCare for a month. Give today to save the life of a little one in desperate need of shelter, food, and love.
